Additionally, NeoMed’s Enteral Safety System complies with the Joint Commission’s “Proposed 2009 National Patient Safety Goals and Requirements” and the Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation’s (AAMI) “American National Standard for Enteral Feeding Set Adapters and Connectors”© 2000. By utilizing ESS the risk of an unintended clinical line connection is ELIMINATED.
