Woodstock, GA – November, 2013 – To help promote awareness of the new ISO Small Bore Connector Standard in 2014, NeoMed has joined GEDSA, the Global Enteral Device Supplier Association, as an Associate Member. The new ISO 80369-3 Small Bore Connector Standard will help reduce the risk of tubing misconnections and improve patient safety. NeoMed designed the first comprehensive enteral safety system to comply with the recommendations of the Joint Commission, FDA, ASPEN, and AAMI to help prevent tubing misconnections. NeoMed continues to design products that help improve patient safety and supports GEDSA’s effort to raise awareness about the new connector standard.
