Since our inception, NeoMed has been a dedicated manufacturer of the highest quality neonatal and pediatric products focused on patient safety and cost-effective solutions. NeoMed continues to develop new enteral devices that raise standards in the collection, storage, delivery and tracking of nutrition. Furthermore, NeoMed has developed strategic partnerships with B.Braun Medical, and Smith’s Medical to bring advanced technology and added value to the customer. Explore NeoMed's strategic product profiles to learn more about how each partnership makes a positive impact with patients and hospitals.
Together with Smiths Medical, enteral safety rises to a new level of protection. By combining the Medfusion® 3500 V5 Syringe Infusion Pump and our NeoMed® line of Oral/Enteral Syringes, a new standard of enteral safety is achieved. The Medfusion® 3500 V5 Pump uses smart pump technology that is designed to detect NeoMed's Oral/Enteral Syringes when placed in the pump's syringe chamber. The Medfusion® 3500 V5 Pump can be programmed to contain separate enteral feeding programs (enteral delivery of volume over time). This technology helps prevent errors associated with the misuse of IV syringes when delivering enteral nutrition. For more information about the Medfusion® 3500 Syringe Pump please click here.
B.Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of infusion therapy and pain management products. B.Braun's philosophy of improving neonatal outcomes is strengthened by an alliance with NeoMed resulting in an enteral delivery system that complies with recommendations set by FDA, Joint Commission, and ASPEN B.Braun Perfusor® SPACE Syringe pump technology is calibrated to automatically identify NeoMed® Enteral Syringes, safely distinguishing NeoMed's products from parenteral/IV syringes. The advanced technology of B.Braun's Perfusor® pumps combined with NeoMed's Oral/Enteral Dispensers together helps protect patients from dangerous misconnection errors and safeguard clinicians from infusion risks associated with misidentification of parenteral devices from enteral devices.
