Woodstock, GA – NeoMed Inc. today announced that it was chosen for a new contract by Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, the group purchasing unit of Premier, Inc. The new agreement, effective October 1, 2010, provides Premier’s more than 2,400 member hospitals and 70,000 additional healthcare sites with access to contracts for NeoMed’s line enteral/oral syringes used in critical care environments and pharmacy pack oral syringes.
NeoMed’s acute care enteral/oral syringes offer Premier members pre-negotiated pricing and terms for a product line that is specifically designed to comply with new Joint Commission, FDA and ASPEN recommendations for enteral safety by protecting the patient from mis-connection errors. In the pharmacy, NeoMed’s dispensers offer enhanced safety features with the use of our self-righting tip cap and gradient markings designed to help protect against dosing errors.
